Viticulture Notes:
Fruit for this wine comes from a single vineyard where our cool autumns, with considerable diurnal temperature variation, slows the loss of grape acids during ripening providing our wines with good structure and colour development. The grapes are grown on semi-arid soils which reduce the vines vigor and produces small crop loads with resulting concentration in berry flavours while our late harvest dates allow the accumulation of more flavor and aroma constituents.
