Hawkshead Pinot Gris 2008
Colour: Pale straw
Nose: A bouquet of tropical fruit; an overlapping fragrance of pear and honeysuckle with almond and hints of sweet marzipan.
Palate: Aroma promises are kept; juicy tropical notes, hints of pear and summer-ripe stone fruit balance the gentle acidity of peaches. The rich creamy texture makes it a very enjoyable wine.
