Peter Scutts Joins Rockburn To Assist With Export Drive.
The Board of Directors of Rockburn Wines announced today that Peter Scutts would join the company as a consultant on 1st of February 2010.
Peter joins the company in the role of acting Managing Director. The initial assignment will be for a period of five months.
Rockburn is one Central Otago’s leading wine producers and has three major shareholders who have all played a significant role in the day to day management in the company since it was founded in 1998.
They have now determined the time is right to expand the business globally and to bring in a senior industry executive to lead the next phase of Rockburn’s growth. Peter’s brief is to develop a long-term business plan for the company, in conjunction with the board, to manage the increasing global demand for the Rockburn brand and to identify and recruit a permanent Chief Executive.
