Neudorf Winery | Nelson positioned at the base of the U shaped bay, facing north protected by high graceful hills on three sides takes the full benefit of abundant sunshine. This, the eighth largest wine region, located on the upper western area of the South Island is residence to many artists and numerous established wineries.
The fertile, silty, stony soil of Waimea plains and clay based soil of Upper Moutere Hills yield four principal grape varieties, Chardonnay, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir that respond fully to the moderately cold region, creating impressive award winning wine styles.

Using techniques learned from working vintages in Burgundy, Mosel, Alsace and Napa we produce wines that are of world-class quality for affordable prices. Leasing established vineyards from the best sites in Nelson we manage the vineyards to produce concentrated fruit with ripe silky textures that express the aromatic delicacy of the varietals with an amplified New Zealand fruitiness. We are proud to produce fine wines that are delicious to drink when young but will increase in quality and complexity with age.
