Giles is a Pom who emigrated to New Zealand with his Kiwi wife, Sue, and two children, Megan and Tom, in 2006. He previously owned and ran a luxury country house hotel in Gloucestershire, England called Corse Lawn House Hotel. During his 15 year tenure the hotel won numerous awards culminating in it being voted "Country Hotel of the Year 2005" in the very prestigious Good Hotel Guide. One of the features of the hotel was an extensive winelist, the running of which Giles considered to be a "perk of the job"! This love of wine combined with a desire not to work every weekend and most evenings led Giles into the Kiwi wine industry and subsequently to the front office of TiZwine.

Review: What the judges described as a good food wine. The subtle tropical fruit aromas do not prepare you for the big citrus flavours that follow. These combine well with the lively, zesty acidity. A well-made wine.
